1. Raw material preparation
The production of Blister Boxes (Flocking) must first prepare suitable raw materials. For the blister box part, high-quality plastic sheets such as PVC, PET, etc. are usually selected. These sheets need to have good flexibility, transparency and thermal stability. When selecting flocking materials, the material of the flock should be determined according to the purpose and needs of the product. For example, the common nylon flock has the advantages of softness and wear resistance. At the same time, the quality of the flocking glue must be ensured, and the glue must be able to firmly bond the flock to the surface of the blister box. In the raw material preparation stage, the plastic sheets need to be strictly inspected for quality to avoid materials with defects such as scratches and bubbles from entering the production process to ensure the overall quality of Blister Boxes (Flocking).
2. Heating and softening
Place the selected plastic sheet in the heating area of the thermoforming equipment. By precisely controlling the temperature and heating time, the plastic sheet is gradually softened. Different plastic materials require different heating temperatures and times. For example, PVC sheets are generally heated to about 130-180℃. During the heating process, it is necessary to ensure that the sheet is heated evenly, which can be achieved by special heating devices such as infrared heating or hot air circulation heating. The evenly heated sheet can maintain consistent shape and performance in the subsequent molding process, avoiding problems such as local deformation or uneven thickness.
3. Vacuum forming
When the plastic sheet reaches the appropriate softening degree, it is quickly moved above the molding mold and the vacuum system is started. The vacuum system will extract the air between the mold and the sheet. Under the action of the air pressure difference, the softened plastic sheet will fit tightly on the surface of the mold, thus forming the basic shape of the blister box. The design and manufacturing accuracy of the mold have a crucial influence on the final shape and dimensional accuracy of the blister box. The mold surface should be smooth and flawless, and the corresponding grooves, protrusions and other structures should be set according to the design requirements of the Blister Boxes (Flocking).
4. Flocking treatment
After the blister box is formed, flocking treatment should be carried out. First, evenly apply flocking glue on the surface of the blister box to be flocked, and then evenly cover the selected fluff on the glue surface by electrostatic adsorption or other means. After a period of curing, the glue will firmly bond the fluff to the blister box. Finally, the Blister Boxes (Flocking) will be trimmed, inspected and other post-processing procedures to ensure that the quality of the product meets the requirements, such as checking the bonding strength of the fluff and the shape integrity of the blister box.
